Who we are
This site is run by Gijon Tech Software Solutions (GIJON Tech, "we"). Questions about this policy or your information go to team@gijontech.com.
What we collect
We collect only what the site needs to work and to answer you.
- GIJON Bot chats
- What you type, and the conversation so far, goes to our chat service and on to Google's Gemini API, which writes the reply. We do not store chats and we do not write what you type to our logs. Keep personal details out of the chat.
- Emails and calls
- If you email or call us, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, contact details and project brief. We use it to reply and to scope your project.
- Site analytics
- Only if you accept cookies, Google Analytics records the pages you open, how you reached the site, your device and browser type, and your approximate location. We look at these totals to improve the site. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses.
- Hosting data
- Our hosting and delivery providers, Netlify and Cloudflare, process standard request data such as your IP address, browser and the pages you open, to serve the site and keep it secure.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop using it. Email team@gijontech.com and we will reply. Depending on where you live, local data protection law may give you more rights.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we post the new version on this page and update the date above.
